Elder Jeremiah C. Merritt was born and reared in Niles, MI seemingly born with an innate ability to conquer the basketball
court.  However, after many years of pursuit and success, a spiritual void begin to magnify in his life that could not be
satisfied on the court. Elder Merritt therefore directed his passion and commitment to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and
the work of the ministry.  Under the wisdom and direction of his Pastor, Bishop Brian D. Moore, Elder Merritt has served in
numerous church positions and ultimately discovered his call to preach while directing the Evangelism and Outreach Ministry
for Life Center Ministries Fellowship.

Elder Merritt was licensed as a minister at the age of twenty-six and sent out at the age of twenty-seven to assume his first
pastorate as the Senior Pastor of Kingdom Life Ministries of Darlington, a growing multi-ethnic fellowship in Darlington, S.C.
Elder Merritt’s much sought after ministry has enabled him to sit in the presence of many great men and women of God;
preaching and teaching to both adults and youth in conferences, retreats, seminars, and worship services of all kinds.

Elder Merritt is an anointed evangelist and teacher whose vision for God's people enables him to build bridges and reach
across denominational, gender, racial and cultural lines to influence and impact God's people for His glory.  Although Elder
Merritt has been trained as a teacher at the renowned
Johnson C. Smith University, he is most appreciated by his listening audience for ministering the Gospel in a way that is
simple, practical, and relevant to the times.

He is a dynamic speaker who ministers with a strong evangelistic and prophetic anointing. From this approach, countless
people from all ages and walks of life have experienced salvation, healing, and deliverance, through faith in Jesus Christ.
